Homemade Beef Burgers
Ingredients
7 oz. raw, organic extra-lean ground beef
½ tbsp. rolled oats (alternative: gluten-free bread crumbs)
½ tbsp. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. salsa, medium (alternative: ketchup)
1 organic omega-3 egg
1 clove garlic
1 small baked sweet potato with skin
1 serving(s) tossed side salad with balsamic vinegar (2 cups lettuce, 1/2 cup cucumber, 2 tomato slices, balsamic vinegar per serving)

Homemade Beef Burgers

½ tbsp. rolled oats (alternative: gluten-free bread crumbs)
½ tbsp. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. salsa, medium (alternative: ketchup)

1 serving(s) tossed side salad with balsamic vinegar (2 cups lettuce, 1/2 cup cucumber, 2 tomato slices, balsamic vinegar per serving)
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix extra-lean ground beef, oats (or bread crumbs), onion, egg white, minced garlic and salt and pepper to taste. Form into a patty. Cook the burger patty in a medium skillet over medium heat, flipping once, for approximately 15 minutes and cooked to an internal temperature of 180 degrees F. Alternatively, you can cook the burger on the grill or BBQ. Serve with a baked sweet potato and side salad.
